So people have been making kale chips for forever now, but I'm finally on the wagon too. They are bomb and easy and quick. Toss a big bunch of kale leaves (pull off big stems) with just a little bit of olive oil. Then spread them out on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with salt, and bake for about 12 minutes (until dehydrated and crispy) at 350.

i try to do this with all kale that comes into the house, most of the time it happens.
ReplyDeleteWe eat a butt-load (no pun intended) of kale daily, but no chips yet. Think this will work with coconut oil?
ReplyDeleteI don't see why not. Just use a little bit though. Less than a tsp. A little goes a long way on these guys.
